Policy Options Article Receives Honorable Mention at 2007 National Magazine Awards

The editorial team of Policy Options is pleased to announce that an article by Jean Lemire in the October 2006 issue was awarded an honorable mention in the essays category at the 30th annual National Magazine Awards last June 15. Entitled "Quand la beauté du monde ne suffit plus," the article was written while Mr. Lemire was leading the mission aboard the Sedna IV in Antarctica and describes in personal and poetic terms how our local behaviour with regard to the environment takes on planetary proportions.
