Cash budgets for carers to help families through care crunch

Carers should get an individual cash budget to help families cope with a worsening care crunch, according to a new report from the Institute for Public Policy Research (ippr) published today (Sunday). The report comes ahead of the Prime Minister’s Carers Strategy Review expected to be published during next week’s Carers Week (9–15 June).
