New British-German research programme aims to link European policy agendas on growth and sustainability. 18 May 2006. The Anglo-German Foundation today announces the winners of its £3 million research funding initiative on ?Creating sustainable growth in Europe? ? the largest single programme of social research between Britain and Germany ever undertaken. The initiative is based on a comparison of policy and experience in these two countries and beyond, and links a range of policy areas usually treated as if independent of each other: innovation, growth and productivity; environment and resources; and welfare, employment and social justice. Further information can be found on the website at www.agf.org.uk or obtained from Annette Birkholz ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ).
