Choice in Social Housing. Traditionally local authority housing is allocated according to need, connections to a local area and your place on the waiting list. "Squeezed Out: Choice and Affordability in Housing" explores the choices individuals make and what the public policy response might be if we are to lift some of the current restrictions on choice. Affordability reveals itself as a central constraint.
