This week, thousands of young Rwandans marched to the Kigali Memorial Centre to commemorate the 1994 genocide and to take part with their elders in the launch of a nation-wide education programme to “rescue traditional values lost in the genocide” as a way to reduce the chances of a repeat of the mass murder.
