2nd Oct 2007- Torture evidence to go unheard as Lords consider Darfur asylum test case; a Home Office win could see 100s sent back On Thursday 4 October, the House of Lords will hear an appeal by the Home Office against a ruling on 4 April by the Court of Appeal in a test case involving three Darfuris. A win for the Home Office could open the way for hundreds of Darfuri survivors to be sent back to Sudan as failed asylum seekers, despite fresh evidence that they will be tortured.
