Darfuri survivors remember Nanking – and call for China to help Darfur

16 Dec 07 – Survivors of ethnic cleansing in Darfur yesterday lit candles outside the Chinese Embassy in London in memory of the victims of the Nanking massacre, showing solidarity with its survivors in the week of its 70th anniversary. They also took the opportunity to call on the Chinese Government to use its power as Sudan’s primary economic partner to bring an end to the suffering in Darfur.
