As the French-led contact group of foreign ministers met in Paris today to discuss steps to resolve the Darfur crisis, leading figures joined the Aegis Trust and Human Rights Watch to call on them to establish an oil trust fund for Sudan, allowing the country to continue exporting oil but blocking revenues from being used for military expenditure or support for the Janjaweed militia in Darfur
