US President’s daughter visits Kigali Memorial Centre

26 Oct 07 – US President George W. Bush’s twin daughter Barbara, currently on a tour of Africa, said that lessons had to be learned from Rwanda’s 1994 genocide. Ms Bush’s comments came during a visit this week to the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre, a monument of remembrance to the one million Tutsi and moderate Hutu peoples killed during a 100 day period thirteen years ago.
