Amnesty International Brings 'The Children of Darfur' Photo Tour to New Orleans, April 10-20

(New York) - Award-winning photographer Ron Haviv and Mahmoud Braima, a Darfuri displaced by the violence in his homeland, will speak at noon, Saturday, April 19 as part of an Amnesty International-sponsored photo exhibit of children from the war-torn Darfur region of Sudan. The event, co-sponsored by the organization ?Voices from Darfur? and the New Orleans' 5th Annual Human Rights Festival, will take place at the Zeitgeist Multi-disciplinary Arts Center in New Orleans, LA, and is free and open to the public. The photos will remain on display through Sunday, April 20 (details below). .
