Lost Voices: the invisibility of homeless people with multiple needs
Lost Voices: the invisibility of homeless people with multiple needs . The latest research report in the Hidden Homelessness series is a study by Clare Croft-White and Georgie Parry-Crooke for Crisis Health Action on multiple health needs among individuals who are homeless. Homeless people suffer from extremely high levels of physical and mental ill health. Many are dealing with multiple health problems making them exceptionally vulnerable. There are enormous obstacles preventing these individuals from accessing appropriate care. Through semi-structured interviews with homeless individuals and service providers in health care, homelessness and other relevant agencies, this research sheds light on a recognisable, but under-examined health and care issue.
