Guang: China and the United States ‘Do Not Have Strategic Conflicts’ in Africa

Yang Guang, director of the Institute of West Asian and African Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, says that China and the United States “do not have strategic conflicts” in Africa. He notes that Chinese companies are attracted to the improved investment environment in Africa, but they make up only a fraction of total investment on the continent.
