White House Proposes $142.8 Billion in Federal R&D Support for FY 2014 U.S. President Barack Obama's proposed Fiscal Year (FY) 2014 R&D budget, unveiled by the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) during a 10 April event at AAAS, calls for $142.8 billion in federal research and development funding.His plan would continue to aggressively support three science agencies seen as critical to national competitiveness, providing an 8 percent increase in R&D funding for the National Science Foundation, the Department of Energy's Office of Science, and the National Institute of Standards and Technology. |
