Thousands of Somali refugees who fled heavy fighting in Mogadishu, Somalia, have been turned away or were unable to cross the Kenyan border -- in violation of international law -- and are struggling to survive without adequate food or shelter, Amnesty International charged today in a new report, "Denied Refuge." In addition, these refugees are facing attacks, including rape and torture, by armed groups
