Strategies with Kids ? Information for Parents (SKIP) Research Report. This report details the key findings from research into the Strategies with Kids ?Information for Parents (SKIP) programme. It looks at influences on parenting and caregiving, cultural issues, use of physical discipline, readiness to engage with SKIP, engagement with community organisations and other professionals, and strategy fundamentals. It also describes how the findings have been incorporated into the design of the SKIP programme, and informed subsequent implementation and communications activities.

Children and Young People: Indicators of Wellbeing in New Zealand. This report presents 35 indicators of the social wellbeing of children and young people in New Zealand. The indicators capture different aspects of the 10 selected social outcome domains, which in turn represent key dimensions of social wellbeing. Demographic characteristics of the New Zealand population under 25 years of age are presented in the first section of this report. This is followed by the indicators, while a summary table of key data completes the report. The indicators in this report have been selected against a set of criteria that includes relevance and statistical soundness.
